  1. There’s something about suffering that makes you feel isolated…alone…neglected even, despite the presence of family and friends.
  2. You may suffer even further if you have a wrong perspective of things or a bad attitude.
  3. Strong and wise are they who suffered much but have stayed steadfast on their course.
  4. To enter into someone’s sorrow is not only noble but a rewarding thing to do. Suffering together makes a relationship stronger.
  5. Our faith and trust in God comes to the fore and gets tested mostly during intense suffering.
  6. We all suffer in different ways every day. To think that you’re the only one who suffers is foolish.

  8. Comparing the degree of your suffering with others’ can either make you bitter or better.  
  9. Suffering is a necessity to character development and Christ-likeness.
  10. The glory of tomorrow can be cultivated from the drudgery of today.
