“Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.” – John Wooden
Every day we are caught in the mess that we’re in. All of us have financial, health, and relational concerns. Each day we battle with coming to work on time, meeting the deadlines, proving our abilities in our current life station. All the while we have house that needs general cleaning, bills to pay, delayed appointments, etcetera, etcetera.
It’s amazing that we can still get up and get going despite our daily challenges…only by God’s grace.
Every day we learn from the mess that we’re in.
We move from one problem to another, one relationship to another, one employer to another. And sometimes we wonder, where am I really going?
What am I doing with my life?
And when we stop and think about it, and listen to what others has to say as they observe us and guide us along, we learn.
Our mess turns into a wonderful message as we examine them with proper perspective and deal with them in the right attitude.
Every day we grow with the mess that we’re in.
We become the best we can be as we keep on fighting, though defeated several times in our struggles.
- We grow only as we allow ourselves to be stretched with each problem we conquer.
- We grow only to the level that we take risks and try new way of doing things.
- We grow only to the capacity that we are willing to let go and let God do the kind of work that He so desires in us, for us, and through us.
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” – 1 Peter 5:6
Though things maybe tough right now, there is a special time and way that all of these will turn around for our good and for His glory.
Question: What’s the mess that you’re in right now and how do you think God wants you to deal with it?
