I still can’t sleep in this wee hours of the morning so I thought of making this list of selected good books I have read which accumulated over the years. In another post,  I listed the “10 Reasons Why I Love Reading.”

Books

This is a pretty exhaustive list (I’m exhausted after hand-writing it first), yet it does not include all the e-books, audio books, magazines, booklets and of course, the school books I have read in my life as a bibliophile.

Until now, I still have unfinished books sitting in my bookshelf, so I often feel guilty buying new ones while seemingly abandoning them. I do get back on reading them once-in-awhile.

Here’s a selected list of 166 books I read (and recommend you read) in random order:

Having completed reading these books and even finishing this list are, for me, a great accomplishment. More importantly, the lessons  which I continue to apply in my life and share with people whose lives I influence, are my greatest trophies.

A few book reviews I wrote are posted here.

I’ll do my best to update this list, but I don’t want to make a promise I cannot keep, so I’m making this promise to myself so as not to disappoint anyone. LOL!

Got questions, comments, or suggested readings along my line of interest?

Bring them on!

    1. Thanks for the suggestion, Pat. I actually tried reading that novel before although I was unable to finish it then. I’m more of a non-fiction reader and I seldom read novels. I’ll try to get hold of a copy and try finishing it this time. 😉

    1. @ Pedro – I really don’t have a huge bookstore at home, bro. I only have shelves of books but I do intend to have my own mini-library someday.

If you’ve noticed, some of these books listed above are actually borrowed from others. 🙂

  6. Hi Adrian, I do appreciate you leaving a comment in my blog. I never thought some stranger would check in and actually read my post. Thanks for encouraging me to write better..and bolder!

And you’ve got a nice list of books in here. Question, are all these still with you? Or are they travelling somewhere else? haha! If they’re with you. where do you keep them? I’ve had a growing stack of books and have not really decided on how to preserve/keep them.

Boundaries by Townsend and Cloud is highly recommended. Go check it out. 🙂

    1. Hey Jai! (Did I get your name right?)

Most of the books are still with me (I have a bookshelf that needs replacement now). Some of the books in this list I just borrowed and returned to their respective owner, while my other books I lent to friends (and officemates) who failed to return them. 😥

I suggest you buy your own cabinet or bookshelf so you could treasure your books for life – and review them in the future if needed. Aside from “displaying your wisdom” to people (Hehe!), your books can also serve as your “legacy” for family and friends someday.

I’ve been seeing “Boundaries” by Townsend in Christian bookstores but maybe I don’t need it yet that’s why I never thought of buying it. But thanks for the suggestion. I’ll look into it and check it out. 🙂

      1. Yes you got it! Most people call me Jai. 🙂

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll go look for a bookshelf then. Ang problema lang di ko alam kung san ilalagay sa munti kong kwarto. But I surely will find a way though. Baka kasi maunahan ako ng mga anay pag tinambak ko lang sa sulok. Haha!

I’d love to hear your thoughts about the book pag nabasa mo na.

Keep writing and inspiring people! 😀
